Deena Rosen’s slides and video from last night are now available. For those of you who missed it, this was the first public talk about Opower’s newly released 5 design principles — i.e., how they do their magic to help people use less electricity. The audience was very engaged, and the discussion period lasted as long as the presentation itself!
Many thanks to Opower for hosting us, Lab49 for supplying the excellent Vietnamese food, and HelloWallet for supporting the logistics for the meetup. More information about the design principles can be found at opower.com/designprinciples, and here’s the site with information about UX jobs at Opower that Deena mentioned: http://opower.com/careers/ux.

By the way — the Action Design Meetup just surpassed 500 members. We’ve only been going for 5 months, so this is a great sign! Thanks for everyone who’s been involved in the group, and I look forward to talking with you all more.
